<3!

Benedict (and Sherlock, I guess) never looks younger and more innocent than this moment where he’s carrying a harpoon and covered in blood.  There’s something endlessly charming about his expression here and I never tire of seeing it.

Also the hair is in fine form.

Sherlock’s genuine surprise, and Lestrade’s expression in that final gif.

Little moments like this are why I love this show.

Holy shit, this is like Johnlock summed up into one delicious post. Major props.

John says nothing after Mike Stamford says, “Yeah, he’s always like that.” Instead, we have this amazing little bit of body language: a tiny stumble, signifying just how completely off-balance his first encounter with Sherlock has made him.
Mr. “Nothing happens to me” may have just met his “Something.”

For the last time, people, don’t let the characters listen to the DVD commentary track.

Who said anything about subtext, you guys? It’s all text. Weird-ass-font, yes, but still text.

(because of course)

So, I’ve got this far as a Sherlock fan on Tumblr before finding The Final Problem. Not sure how that happened, because jeez.

I had a crisis of faith last night because how the hell does one find a niche among such an amazing, talented, funny, artistic, creative group of people? Is that even possible? Probably not, so I’ll just try and keep up.

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes.
